By purchasing or engaging our services, you agree to this policy.
1. Scope

2. Digital Products & Software
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are generally final and non-refundable once:
- The product has been downloaded
- Access has been granted
- License keys have been issued
- Source files or deliverables have been shared
Exceptions
Refunds may be considered if:
- The product is defective or unusable
- You were charged in error
- Duplicate payment occurred
- Service was not delivered as promised
Requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
3. Web Development, IT Services & Custom Projects
For custom services (websites, apps, DevOps, integrations, consulting, etc.):
a. Deposits
- Initial deposits are non-refundable once work has started, as they cover planning, research, and resource allocation.
b. Project Cancellation
If you cancel a project:
- You will be billed for work already completed
- Remaining balance (if any) may be refunded at our discretion
- Completed work will be delivered upon settlement of outstanding payments
c. Dissatisfaction
If you are not satisfied:
- We will first attempt revisions or corrections
- Refunds are only considered if we are unable to reasonably meet agreed deliverables
4. Subscription Services
For monthly or annual subscriptions:
- You may cancel at any time
- Cancellation stops future billing
- No refunds for unused time or partial periods unless required by law
If a billing error occurs, contact us immediately for correction.
5. Physical Products (If Applicable)
If SmartCape Innovations supplies physical goods:
Returns
- Items must be returned within 7–14 days of delivery
- Must be unused and in original packaging
- Must include proof of purchase
Non-returnable items
- Damaged due to misuse
- Customized or special orders
- Opened software/hardware licenses
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days after inspection.
Shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the error is ours.
6. Payment Errors
If you believe you were:
- Double charged
- Incorrectly billed
- Charged without authorization
Contact us within 72 hours, and we will investigate promptly.
